The long flight to Dublin wasn't exactly flawless. I was on a the back row in a seat that refused to recline so the Trtl didn't keep my head from bobbing like cork on a fishing line. Fortunately, The lively streets of Dublin woke us right up. We dropped off our suitcases at the hotel and walked around for a few hours before our friends arrived.
We were so happy to see our friends, Keith and Carol Brook and Keith and Yvonne Kennedy arrive from London and Gateshead. They are the excuse we use to travel and we love being with them. Mark helped teach Carol and Yvonne when he served as a missionary in England. We were so happy to reconnect with them 10 years ago.
Our room at the Maple hotel was on the fourth floor, basically pigeon level. It was well used and contained a bed big enough for Tiny Tim and his half brother. Oh, I meant to say Tiny Tim and half a brother. We didn't care. Jet lag lead us into sweetly into slumber amidst traffic noise and Saturday night drinking songs.
I am so glad to catch up with you. It sounds like a "bonny" trip
